Introduction

Today is the second day of our ARMPD (Applied Research Methods Professional Development) lecture. The lecturer in charge of this module is Mr. Eranjan Padumadasa. Lecturer divided the whole class in to five groups and each group consisted in to six members. Students named their groups as super six, furious seven and mine the princess and brat.

These are the tasks given by lecturer.

• Create a name for the group. The group name should be meaningful and creative.
• Design a logo to a group.
• Brief introduction about the person who sit next to each student.

According to the tasks which given by lecturer students were create a name, logo. Also each group come in front of the class and introduced about their friend. In the introduction of the friends we include the basic information about the each person such as their name, age, school, favorite foods, drinks, color, sport, admirable person and so on.

Learning gain of the Lecture

Today s activity was really interesting. Dividing student in to groups was such an interesting thing, because we learnt how to work in a group with different different people. Also students share their friends basic in information. It was a really good thing. Student used to know about their friends inner interests and so on.

Personal Opinion

This activity was really interesting. The person who next to me was Udith Nisakara. I got to about his basic information and interests. From creating a name for the group and logo build a relationship between all the group members. Now I feel that all the class are some way know about their friends.
